Garnishes and cosmetic parts Pacific Die Cut supplies films, fabrics, and assorted plastic, rubber and foam die cut pads for automotive glove boxes, cup holders, consoles, and arm rests among other die cut and laminated automotive interior components. Primarily through die cutting, kiss cutting, slitting and lamination with pressure sensitive adhesive, natural and synthetic fiber-based decorative textiles such as flocked fabric and tape, velveteen, and felt are converted for applications including glove box liners, console bin mats, and several other passenger compartment items. All of our die cut materials can either be laminated by Pacific Die Cut with a matched pressure-sensitive adhesive or may be applied at the time of installation by our customer Seals and Gaskets Pacific Die Cut does die cutting, kiss cutting and lamination of seals and gaskets for automotive HVAC duct systems, mirrors, lamps, instrument panels, glass, and other molded components. Our water, air or dust barrier components are fabricated from polyurethanes, PVC, PVC nitriles, EPT, EPDM, and silicone often matched with acrylic-based, butyl rubber-based, and silicone-based pressure sensitive adhesives.
Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) Attenuation PDCI does die cutting, kiss cutting, slitting and lamination of an array of engineered materials for sound barrier, absorption and vibration damping applications. Our die cut acoustic materials include cotton shoddy pad, butyl dampers, vinyl sound barriers, high modulus foams, and synthetic nonwoven acoustical absorbers. Applications include acoustic insulation for door trim, pillar trim, package trays, trunk trim, floor damping sheets, baffle seals, dash panel or firewall sound insulators, cowl top insulators, carpet underlayment pads, and headliner materials. Our components often are converted with the appropriate pressure sensitive adhesive.
Anti-squeak and rattle We offer many solutions for your automotive squeak and rattle concerns. Materials include flock tape, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), PVC foam, sponge rubber, UHMW tape, urethane foam, and non-woven felt materials in tape form. Calendared or extruded elastomers such as silicone, neoprene, EPDM, and Santoprene are converted through lamination with pressure sensitive adhesives and die cutting, kiss cutting, and slitting into spacers, bumpers and gap fillers. Our components are used to abate noise in wire harnesses, instrument panels, glove boxes, glass and body interfaces, and injection molded component interfaces, among other parts.
Subcomponents We do converting of a variety of other die cut, kiss cut, laminated, extruded or molded automotive subcomponents including Tyvek ® airbag module wrap material, die cut and pressure sensitive adhesive laminated fuel cell components, washers for seatbelts assemblies, anti-skid bumpers and pads, spacers and burst foils/shims for airbag inflator assemblies, breathable dust and water filters for electronic components and connectors, and EMI/RFI shielding.
