As traditional forms of drug delivery continue to be used in hospitals and clinics today, a great emphasis is being placed on home healthcare and less invasive self-administration of drug therapies. PDCI Medical’s work with key players in the pharmaceutical and cosmepharmaceutical markets has resulted in superior delivery of custom die cut drug patches, sound damping components, research aids, placebos and other accessories. Our experience in processing a variety of different materials gives us valuable insight in product development and prototyping. We have spent many years in helping our clients develop and refine their products to meet the demands of the market through clinical trials and mass production requirements.
Energy Absorption pads
PDCI Medical has worked with numerous customers in the medical device and biotech markets, engineering the perfect combination of material, adhesive and meeting customer objectives for vibration and noise damping/abatement. Energy absorption pads are die cut and placed in high velocity compressed areas of the device, filtering sound, forces, and vibrations. PDCI is a vertically integrated supplier, and can also assist in assembling these energy absorption pads into the end device.

PDCI has been at the forefront of this technology, die cutting and converting both non-impregnated and impregnated materials into individual and kitted patches for a number of therapeutic and analgesic manufacturers. The complexity of these die cut patches varies from simple designs containing a facestock and adhesive only, to more complex patches supported by upwards of five different materials.
